Once on Chunuk Bair – pays tribute to the young men of Wellington Battalion who fought and died during the capture of Chunuk Bair, Gallipoli. Written by NZ’s acclaimed playwright Maurice Shadbolt and directed by Lynn Bushell the play opens on the 100th Anniversary of the actual battle

Opening Event
We held a special opening event on the opening night Saturday 8th August to mark the centenary of the battle. This was in the foyer of the Events Centre at 6:45pm. Attendance is by invitation and to all opening performance ticket holders.
