Director Lynn Bushell

She conquered the heart of a King and England.

We had a fantastic turn out for auditions and were able to fill the main roles! The director will be gathering the team together for a read through and to discuss how the process will proceed from here. We will also need some more speaking and non-speaking ‘extras’ – a great opportunity to be part of the production for people with limited time as you would not be needed at very many rehearsals. Also, a great opportunity for people who want to gain some performance experience and discover the fun and excitement of theatre!

The director would very much like the opportunity to work with an Assistant Director, someone who feels they would like to gain some experience with a big cast and a lively play. Do get in touch because it will be great fun.

There is also people required for costuming, props, hair and makeup, also front of house. Please be in touch if you would like to assist in one of these very important behind the scenes roles.

Season dates: 22nd August-2nd September 2018
The rags-to- royalty story of a humble orange seller who rose to become Charles II’s favourite mistress and England’s favourite actress. Eleanor ‘Nell’ Gwynn, is an uplifting, riotous and bawdy romp which parodies Restoration comedy. Great range of roles for all ages, both male and female. Ensemble acting, easy music and dancing.

Rehearsals will begin in early June.

If you want to be part of the production, please contact Lynn Bushell.
