Al and Bet, a married couple living a monochrome life. Feeling down and out with Al’s continuing unemployment, the couple squabble about everything from having no hot water, to Al’s uninspired black-and-white “works of art” and Bet’s obsession with entering magazine competitions.
Then Bet wins a romantic trip for two to Paris and their lives take a twist like a French croissant. Follow Bet and Al as they sort out french cuisine, fumble with a phrase book, fend off muggers and more in this hilarious depiction of English abroad.
